4 Books Before 2024

There’s been a “10 Before the End” tag floating around Bookstagram, but with the last few months of the year looking busy, I didn’t think I could realistically get around to reading 10 more books before the new year.

However, I do thrive off of goals and plans, so that’s why I arrived at four particular books I want to read before 2024. Life is busy and my “to be read” list is, at this point, unwieldy.

Here’s what I’ve narrowed it down to:

  1. Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin. This one has come highly recommended by friends and family alike!

  2. Piranesi by Susanna Clarke. I love a cozy fantasy for the winter, and I’m excited by the fact that it’s a standalone with a unique premise and a pretty low page count.

  3. Home by Marilynne Robinson. I read Lila last fall and Gilead the fall before last, and now I’m convinced that I’ll love anything Robinson writes. I cherish every page spent in the town of Gilead and I hope that Home will prove to be no exception.

  4. Beartown by Fredrik Backman. Another book with rave reviews that seems fitting to read during the wintertime.

The last few months of the year will be busy, so I wanted to choose just a few books to prioritize realistically before the new year. I figure two for November, two for December is doable for me!

What’s a book you definitely want to get to before the year is out?
